Remarks
Eligibility is 50%. My sister was doing her BCA there so no second thought I blindly chose Kristu Jayanti College. The application process was smooth as they conducted group discussions and one on one interviews with the students. And with the Grace of God, I was selected there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus was too good and easy. We had very kind facilities back then so we had a great time at college. Our teachers all completed their master's and Ph.D. Our college is autonomous so we had a different syllabus and exams were easy and our teachers guided us well.
Internships Opportunities
They don't offer internships they give us projects in which we are supposed to go to our respective internship places and give reports to our guide. The project which I choose was Inventory management. It was a very different experience for me. I pursued my internship at Karnataka soaps and detergents Pvt. ltd, Bangalore.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, companies started visiting us. The companies which came and approached us were Capgemini, cognizant, Wipro, and more MNCs Yeah, many students were placed with good packages. And many started their own business and now are entrepreneurs. 30% of students were placed on campus and the rest got jobs soon after college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees were quite normal as it's a reputed college and one of the most famous colleges in India. Campus recruitment was a bit skeptical as many companies were from other departments like BPO so it was not much impressive.
Campus Life
We had many fests like acumen and intercollegiate fest. Acumen was my department fest and it was conducted for a week. Yeah, library books helped us a lot during exams but the only problem was students were allowed to borrow only one book at a time if they needed more than one then they are supposed to hand over their ID card and then take the books. But when we come to college the next day security doesn't allow us without an ID card.
