To be eligible for this course you need to first qualify or pass the 12th class or any other respective board from other states. you must not have any other debarring academic life. We can apply for the addmission directly from online or you can go to the campus and apply. You will have to pay Rs. 1000 as an application fee which is non-refundable. The exam will be in two phases, consisting of 300 marks with no negative marking. You need to score more than 200 marks for getting a scholarship for that exam. It is generally termed GAT. There will be no reservations for the students in GITAM. I think there should be only an improvement in decreasing the application fee.

I've chosen this course because in the current scenario there is more scope for the development of the IT & software sectors, so you may get job easily as compared to others. There will be only a single professor for the entire class of 40-50 students. Students are required to clarify most of their doubts in the classroom itself. They can sometimes contact me through their emails also. Each faculty has a different method of teaching, no teacher uses the same technique. Most of the professors have completed their Ph.D.s in their respective fields. Few faculty members use presentations for teaching while others teach directly on the board. In online classes, there were 5 mid-exams for a single semester as compared to the offline classes. the semester would be around 165-180 days including the end examination.

The fee for this course is Rupees 3 lakhs per anum. You may get a scholarship from EAMCET or JEE or through Examination. Depending upon the score you get the scholarship would be provided. If your rank is below 20 thousand in eamcet you get a scholarship of 25%. If you score above 85 percentile in JEE mains you get a 25% scholarship. It is the same with the GAT exam. If your rank is below 2500, you get a scholarship of 25%. If you get a rank of below 100 in the GAT exam your tuition fee would be free for 1st year. The scholarship can be forwarded to the next years depending upon the CGPA score you get. This year they are providing financial assistance for the students(3rd party). But GITAM isn't responsible for that one. They have changed their payment modes. They have canceled all other types except net banking, debit/credit card payments or through DD. Also you have to choose the amount you pay, either you pay completely or semester-wise. That would be carry forwarded to the next y

You will have many fests and cultural activities in the entire GITAM. You will be constantly receiving emails from the campus directors or whoever it's concerned about. You get mails regarding Hackathons, webinars on different programs, and also you have a VDC course which relates about the entrepreneurship. There is a library on all three campuses and is open till evening at 7:00 pm. It may vary from the campuses. For the upcoming students, they will be having AC classrooms but also the fee is hiked for them. Most of the classes are very well ventilated. There are sports for the students in GITAM. There will be competitions between the universities. There are also NCC & NSS wings on Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam campus. There are clubs run by the students on Hyderabad campus.
