I got admission to this college by counseling through my cutoff marks with reservation quota. After completing my counseling I got my admission card to this college. Afterward, I got an admission form for the college. After I submitted my original certificates and joined the college.

I am choosing the Electrical and electronics engineering course because of my interest in this subject. Faculties are well qualified with freshers only, not much experienced. And their teaching method is well and advanced. By practically good knowledgeable staffs. And their conduct monthly 3 term exams and 3 internal exams before the University exam. And it was a little difficult to pass. But my faculties are good mentors to students.

More core companies' internship training is offered in Chennai. We visit many electrical companies, manufacturing companies, and solar Companies. TATA MOTORS at Madurai offers internship training for students in my department.

My college placement class conducts from the 3rd year and final year. In their final years, students are eligible for placements. And many IT Companies in Bangalore visited my college for placement selections. They made many offers. And 60% of students only get placements. After getting my degree I planned to prepare for competitive exams for government jobs.

In my college, we have term fees for each semester. And the fee structure is average compared to other colleges. And most of the poor families are studying in my college because of the good fee structure. But, we don't get full government scholarship offers. This is the drawback of my college. And they conduct free campus interviews with good IT companies. Very less students are only selected by some companies. I got selected by one IT Company but am interested in electrical industries so I won't go to the IT company. Very less core companies only come in campus selections.

My college is very neat and has a good infrastructure with a good practical lab and lots of facilities. College conducted many tech fests and symposiums in every department. We have a good library facility with more foreign authors' books and we have an E-library facility too. We have football, volleyball, cricket, and kabaddi sports group facilities with good mentors. And we joining national level sports too. We have SRRCET GROUP Run by students. But I don't know if it's is active now or not.

We have hostel facilities for both boy and girls seperately. Both are nearly only and many PG available in Karaikudi nearby 3-4 kms apart. And with in 1 km rental house available fo students near rasta.
