The most memorable college life experience

My college is the best college in odisha in terms of education, entertainment, cooperation and personality development. However, annual fee was bit higher.

I have given SAAT-2008 to take admission into MCA, Apart from that, I have also appeared for OJEE entrance. However, looking into the college infrastructure, previous students comments and previous history about this college, I have decided to take admission into this college.

The course syllabus is really good, you'll get overall knowledge about each and every subject. The Computer LAB infra is also really very good. Teachers were also very friendly, they used to take extra classes for week students and were already ready to clear the doubts. Over all the course syllabus was very good and was designed as per IT industry standard.

Yes, Our college provides internship. However, I have opted to take the internship from an outside organization and selected Hyderabad, as there were so many IT start-up companies and I can explore more about the industry.

During our passout year, there was IT recession was going on, so we didn't get any good placement. However, there were students, who has secured more than 90% have selected in campus for Wipro, TCS, HP, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra. Overall, 30-35% students were selected for campus and were offered a package of maximum 2.9 LPA

We were celebrating annual function every year and was named as Genesis. College management used to invite some famous persons like sports person, celebrities, movie stars, every year for this program.

Fee structure was little costly and was per annum basis. I was paying Rs. 110,000.00 per annum apart from this, there were having exam fee which was approx, Rs.3000.00 per semester apart from these there were no other fees.

Yes, college was offering loan facility and I have opted for 2 Lakhs loan from from Syndicate bank.

Every year, robotic competition used to held in our college and most of colleges from Bhubaneswar used participate in it. It was really very fun to watch. In our college, there was no gender diversity both girls and boys used sit in class room all together and also used to participate in all the competitions.

College was having its own hostel facilities, but, I have opted not to stay in hostel as my family was staying near by the college. Also college was offering bus facility for pick up and drop of its students with a minimal fee for month who were staying in Bhubaneswar.

Senior students were helpful and also used to help us during our exam period. I had a very good relationship with all my senior batch mates.

Our syllabus was designed in a manner, so that, we have to give the subject test monthly. Few subject tests were online and few are offline. LAB infra was very good. All the exam halls were equipped with cctv camera. The marks obtained in the monthly test were also included in the final marks.

I have purchased the form from the college office which is located at Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar. I have dully filled the form and submitted through postal. Latter, I have appeared for the entrance test and ranked #160 to take admission into MCA. On the date of admission, it was much crowded at our college and I went with my parents. After waiting for long 4-5 Hours, finally, I got my name announced, I have submitted all my documents as well as the admission fee.

All the faculties were very talented and highly qualified. They used to give lecturers in professional way. All the faculties were ready to clear the doubts at any time and also used to take extra classes for weak students. Some faculties were also used smart classes for better demonstration of the subject. After 2-3 theory classes, they used to take one practical LAB class where they used to explain in details the flow of a program.
