Remarks
Passed Class 12 or equivalent can apply irrespective of age or academic background. School students who have appeared for their Class 11 final exams can apply irrespective of their group/stream/board. Those who qualify can join the program after passing Class 12. It is expected that the applicants have studied Mathematics and English in Class 10. Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of the Fine courses by IIT Faculty. It's an online degree so pre-recorded video lectures are published so no question of Students teachers ratio. There is one exam at each month's end depending on the number of courses you have registered for. Exams are rigorous and you have to study but on the helping hand they provide various live sessions practice assignments and graded assignments that help in the preparation for the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am general so I didn't receive a stipend but there are several opportunities for OBC PWD or EWS students. If family income is less than or equal to 1 lakh then there is a 75% fee waiver for the students. If family income is less than or equal to 5 lakhs but greater than 1 lakh then there is a 50% fee waiver for EWS OBC and PWD students but OBC + PWD students 75% fee waiver. There is also the presence of some private scholarships which are given by private companies more about this will be revealed after some time.
Campus Life
As it is an online degree program so there is nothing to be called as groups clubs sports or anything. Look now the worst part of this program comes where student interactions and the feel of being in a group where you can have fun are absent. There is no such type of relevant group. although IIT made several clubs in reality, it's worth nothing this program, is very good if you are a student or professional who is doing a course outside and have a social presence outside but if you are only doing this course then you are being left alone. In the name of Techfest, there recently organized a fest wish you have to attend an IIT Madras this is an online program so you have to draw travel for 3 days from wherever you are and these three days you have to pay all the charges it's like if you are born with a silver spoon then you can afford it.
