Course Curriculum Overview

Bcom accounting and finance is a moderate course. It's not that much hard or easy. A lot of people study in my college. In my class, about 70 students are studying. The faculty is good. Teaching is average, to be honest. Passing in this course is easy but scoring good marks is hard

Internships Opportunities

Companies like tcs, cognizant, IBM, Morgan Stanley, sbi securities, Infosys, Wipro, Citibank etc are offering internships for students with stipends of about 10,000 to 20,000. The roles like assistant financial analyst, assistant financial manager, etc

Placement Experience

There were lots of companies providing placements for this college. The average package of about 1,80,000 per annum. About 80 per cent of students get placed. from 3rd year 1st semester can eligible for campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is based on terms. There are four terms in a year. Fees will be around 50,000 - 55000. For BCom per year 50,000 so if we spilt it into four, it comes out 12,500 per term. I don't have a scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. At first, I felt awkward then after finding some friends with the same mind, it went great. Annual fest and cultural events are rare in this college, but they will be grand and awesome. there were several social groups in this college.

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

From the 5th semester onwards the management made various efforts to conduct oncampus And they made it. Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed. My plan after degree is to place in good reputed company.

In our college, mega campus interview happen and all south college students participated in our college campus interview Some campus interview companies are LIC, Muthoid finance, and HDFC. 20% of people were selected in campus interviews. After my degree, I going to do CA intermediate exam and attend some government exams.

Remarks:

Positive is good atmosphere and campus Negative is we can’t enjoy the campus because whenever we cut a class the department cut our international mark and we can’t write exam without 75% mark

Campus chronicles

I actually for two other colleges in Chennai, one is Loyola and the other is dgvc. I didn't get seat in Loyola even though I got very good marks 552/600 which includes a centum in commerce and 99 in accounts. After that I applied in dgvc where at first I didn't get counseling but once I paid fees in this College am jain college I got admission there..I asked for a refund in my college but they didn't provide me so I joined here. I applied for loyala college and DG vaishnav but unfortunately I wasn't placed there then I finally applied in AM jain and got in it initially I hated it but then I went through it now I feel like it wasn't really a bad decision aftervall.
