Remarks

The college management was very helpful , especially during external exams to fill the form . But results were published very late from management side .

Entrance Preview

CET - RANK 1925 This college was one of the top 3 colleges in bangalore. The reason to choose BMSCE was because it was 1.5 KM away from my home .

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is good which was one of the coolest branch in BMSCE . We had lot of fun by initially mass bunking the classes as we took admission in VTU and college got transformed into AUTONOMOUS . With respect to research , we had good learnings on programming languages and lecturers were very helpful.

Internships Opportunities

Yes in the final year we were given the option to opt for internship. I had got the internship offer from oracle for 3 days a week . The stipend was around 14k per month .

Placement Experience

5

We have plenty of oppotunities if we are in BMSCE . We had tier 1 and tier 2 companies to be written . During our batch , we saw 100% placement initially and many got tier1 as well . The placement co-coordinator was very good and helpful to get us a job .

College Events

4.5

We had fest called 'Avalenche' which was organised by our department ISE . It included technical and cultural activities as well . I was volunteering MOCK - CAT test held for 2 days . Avalenche was also famous for gaming activities like FIFA and counter strike .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure depends on the entrance exam to the college . For CET it was feasible but students who opted for comedk had very high fee structure . Also SC/ST quota students fees was very less and they used to get pen drives very year from college .

Fees and Financial Aid

No am not aware of any scholarship provided from college . Also not sure about loan as well . Students might have taken loan against the fees for the final year but again not sure about the same .

Campus Life

2.5

Yes , we had many activities and inter-college tournaments for sports like cricket , football and volleyball . Campus life was very good. Gender ratio was equal around 40:60 . Labs were not so good , as i hardly remember when we were in 2nd semester learning chemistry .

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I did not stay in hostels. What i heard from my friends was that food was so great and initially they were staying in a single room . But later in final year they got separate room . The rental was also high to stay in hostels , so many students used to stay in PG's

Alumni/Alumna

Initially we were scared of seniors because of ragging . After few days we had great fun with seniors . We used to play cricket everyday ater 4pm with them .

Exam Structure

Exams were chilled out . We had 3 internals and one external in a semester . The internals were very easy . Since college was autonomous , we had surprise quizzes as well . External exams very little hectic as we had no gap between exams . Labs as i said before were not so great and we ended up loosing marks as well .

Admission

I went through CET counseling and got admission in Information Science Branch . CET guys will verify the CET rank and 2nd PUC PCM marks . The aggegate of CET marks and 2nd PUC PCM marks leads to CET rank . The administration was very good , they verified all the documents before assigning the seat and they were very helpful as well .

Faculty

4

Faculty is good and very friendly . The only problem i faced was they are great in communication . we have learned a lot from them . The HOD was very good and he used to give live examples to teach us programming languages . Many lecturers were pursuing PhD and many were already successful that time.
