Good faculty with good placement

Good Things: + Good Faculty + Good Labs + Good Placement Bad Things: - Uniform 4 days out of 6 - Saturday College is open - Tough Exams - So many assignments Overall, college will make you cry for 3 years if you are coming from DU or some other university, but definitely that is good for you/your future and you will get good placement/job.

1. There is common entrance exam of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for MCA exam. 2. I scored 116 rank 3. This is best college compared to other in IP university and this college also offer good placements

Syllabus is obviously not the latest technologies in industry, but it covers basic and logic part. There are lectures on Saturday as well as in college vacations, where you can learn about latest technologies. IP University changes syllabus once every few years and covers latest technologies. However there is always gap between college syllabus and industry.

College won't provide internship, but will place you in good companies and most of them provide internship. General stipend is around 10K. You get good exposure in companies just like real life job.

Most of the time 80-90% students are placed. Package varies between 3.5 LPA to 7 LPA. In my time, around 20 companies visited campus, some of them are Aricent, TCS, IM, Nagarro, Opera. Each company has its own criteria for placements, some of them require 60% marks through out, some of them require 70% in MCA etc. Usually placement round includes Written, followed by technical interview and then HR interview.

There are 2-3 fest celebrated every year. 1. ASC 2. NSC 3. Teachers Day 4. Quiz 5. IndiaCom ASC and NSC are technical fest, where there are various events like IT Quiz, C/C++ programming, photography, web development etc. IndiaCom is research paper presentation, where authors/research scholar are invited all over India, it's 2 day long paper presentation.

It's approx 1 Lakh per year including Books/Uniform/Fees etc. So, I can't categorise as expensive or not. If you are from middle class family or taking loan, it is expensive. In short, total 3 years will cost you around 3 Lakhs and if you get good job, you can easily return that in 1 year as usually package is 3.5 LPA.

I didnt avail loan, but yes, there is one bank near to it. You can avail loan too. I didnt find any scholarship options. However you can consult with Director once. First year fee is submitted in university and next 2 years with college. You need to find scholarship options, not aware of.

most of them batches have 50-50 gender ratio. However it may vary. Yes, it has got good labs and there are tech fest as well. tech fest includes various events like programing, tech quiz, photography, debates, antakshari etc. There is sports playground, but never got enough time.

I am not eligible to review this. Because there is only girls hostel. Any of my friend didnt stay there. But yes, staying in hostel, you will get good friends and get to know your seniors/juniors. Mess food is in canteen only. Food quality is OK. If most of the students complain, they even change vendor.

There is no ragging. Senior may ask your name etc but no ragging. I have passed out in 2012 and now part of alumni network. There is alumni meet every year, also alumni can take lectures in college if they are good at some position/topic.

In every semester, there are atleast 3 exams: First internal, Second Internal and then final IP exams. Internal exams are usually 1-2 hour with 40-50 marks per exam Final exams are 3 hour long with 75 maximum marks Other than that, there are practical exams in each semester consist of internal and external. Total marks are 100 per exam (combining internal and external)

There is Entrance Exam by IP university, followed by Counseling and then you can choose college (ofcourse it is by rank you have obtained in entrance exam), if your rank is late, that means more students have attended the counseling and good college will be filled first and if your rank is late, you will not get good college or college of your choice.

Faculties are good, have good knowledge. Most of the faculties focus on Practical part rather than theory part. You can reach out to them at any time with your doubt/queries. They are even ready to sit with you in lab to help you solve your queries/doubts. Most of them have done M.Tech and some of them have done P.HD. too.
