Best Engineering College of North Karnataka

the college is great and I would like to give five stars to BVB college.

I wrote CET of Karnataka education board entrance exam for engineering, and I had got 6200+ ranking and I wanted stay at my native and this was the best college amongst north Karnataka so I chose this college

the course offered at BVB college are really good and since it is a autonomous college the electives offered were more related to the field where we will be working after graduation rather than the outdated subjects and we were given enough options to choose from which we are interested working in like core related and IT related electives.

my college doesn't provide internship for BE, but we were given opportunity to work on hobby projects during sem breaks where we will be choosing a project that we will be interested to work on and one of the faculty will be associated with us who will be guiding us though out the project and that project can either simulation or model based.

placement opportunities at BVB college are really good. most of the reputed companies like BOSCH,INFOSYS, TCS, SONY, CONTINENTAL etc visit our college for recruitment and they recruit in good numbers offering a good package. we will be given training as well to face the interviews and will be given enough number of opportunities to choose the field where we want to work.

we had both technical events and extra curricular events. once in a year we had college fest for a week or so where in we had both technical as well as fun events . we were given opportunity to showcase our talent.

the fee structure is feasible not at all expensive there was 18000+ for the seat section to be given during seat allotment at CET counselling and 10000+ amount to be paid at college during admission to the college as college development charges and some other miscellaneous charges.

some scholarships were offered by the college which were sponsored from either founder or some organizations which were chosen based on merits. and no loan facility was offered by college but we were able to get the loan sanctioned with seat allotment letter and college fee estimation letter by college from any of the nationalised bank

campus life was fun filled. college is located at the centre of city and the infrastructure of the college was really great. people from different places had come. there was great support from college for extracurricular activities like conducting debates and competition during tech fest and college annual functions college had good labs equipped with necessary equipment's.

the hostel facilities and mess food was good. we had separate buildings for BOYS and girls both located within campus and the rooms were clean and spacious and the maintenance was good and the mess food was also good healthy and tasty. and had a small cafeteria in the campus for evening snacks which was also good.

there is a good alumni network in the college and conduct alumni gathering functions in different places which gives opportunity for students to build network by meeting alumni working in different fields which helps in their career.

the exam structure was decide by the college since its an autonomous college. 50% weightage was given to internals and 50% to the sem end exams. out of 50% of the internals we had to attend 2 internals each carrying a weightage of 20% which covers the completed chapters for exam and 10% of the marks were given to either assignments or to the mini projects based on the subjects.

during CET counselling for seat selection I chose this college and then seat allotment letter was given to me at counselling cell ,then visited college with this allotment letter and got admitted.

the faculty at BVB college are all highly educated and qualified, all of them had master degree and most of them had PHD in the respective subjects that they teach. and faculty were helpful ,kind and friendly and were available to students almost all the time to solve problems related to studies and projects.
