My college review

The admission process is simple and good. It's all based on merit. The admission will be done by the office of admission of SASTRA so u don't need to pay any fee to an unknown person. There is no cut-off. There are no donations. There are no reservation benefits. Students need a minimum of 55 percent in higher studies and intermediate studies. You can fill out the application either online or offline mode. The online application form is available on www.sastra.edu and for the offline mode, you have to download the application form from the above website and fill out and post it to the university address.

I am interested in coding. So I choose BCA. Other than that BCA has a good future because we are eligible for both private and government sectors. The faculty of our university is highly educated. There are almost finished with their PhD in top universities. The teaching method is very simple and good. Semester exams are conducted at the correct time.

There are so many companies offering internships. Some are free and some are paid internships, but both are workable. Placement is highly based on CGPA, and some companies hire students with Good CGPA and ones who attend internships. Internships are good for our placement.

The placement of our University is very good and genuine. There is no partially. For Arts students 6th semester become eligible for campus placement. For engineering students, the 8th semester becomes eligible for campus placement. There are lots of companies visited like Tcs, Wipro, Cts, Infosys etc. Mostly 70-80 per cent of students get placement. Others will go for higher studies.

Compared to other Universities here the fee structure is low and worthable. According to the CGPA the students, who got top 3 places in the university, he/she will be offered two-fifth of the semester fees, govt. also provides scholarships.

Kurukshetra is the annual fest in SASTRA. Lots of events are conducted in Kurukshetra like dance, music, and literary events. Lots of tech fest is celebrated in our college. There are conducted in the month of march. Yes, the availability of books and journals in the library. E-books and E-journals are also available. Our university gives importance to sports and extracurricular activities on campus. There are lots of sports here and guide with a specific faculty.
