College is quite good in all aspects College Management System is a system designed to record, process and retrieve data related to Administration, students and other staff of an Educational institution. Considering the high error rates involved in processing data for a large institution such as an educational institution, the need for an Enhanced system is highly recognized. College Management System can be both application-wise or web based, the web based college management systems can be accessed in any part of the world with the need of two major components, a browser and an active internet connection which makes it a strong tool to monitor activities pertaining to the educational institution on the move.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Your course's content areas have activities in a step-by-step sequence or learning path. A learning path helps students build skills in each content area by taking students from the most basic skills to the more advanced. A MyNursingLab course has pre-tests that build a personalized learning path for each student by identifying the modules and lessons that the student has already mastered. Other MyLab courses have pre-assessments at the content-area level (Path Builders) and at the module level (Skills Checks). These pre-assessments also build a student's personalized learning path by identifying modules and topics that the student has already mastered. Whether pre-tests or pre-assessments, learning paths allow the student to spend more time on skills not yet acquired. The pre-tests or pre-assessments are particularly useful when you don't know the skill sets of your students, or when their skill sets are very different. However, if you know that their skill sets are similar, you might want all students to work the same activities on a schedule that you define. In MyLabs other than MyNursingLab, you could use the Path Builders as diagnostic tests to measure student progress during this course, but be aware that Path Builders are not designed to be used as assessments. In particular, they use competency-based algorithms to determine student mastery status, so there might not be questions on the test for each module in your course. Instead, you might want to look through the sample tests included in your course to see if there is a more appropriate diagnostic assessment. Your MyLab course can use one of three curriculums: Personalized Learning Paths, Assignments Due with Learning Paths, or Assignments Due. Your curriculum choice is reflected in the student view of Course Home and determines how students access assignments. They can always access assignments from a calendar on Course Home, and, depending on your curriculum, they can also access assignments from the Course Home's Learning Path tab and Assignments Due tab. expandedPersonalized Learning Paths This is a mastery-based curriculum and is appropriate for a self-paced or self-accelerated course. After taking the pre-tests or the Path Builders and Skills Checks (when available), each student works only the modules and topics/lessons that he or she has not yet mastered. Since each student is working on different activities, you may need to work with each student to establish reasonable goals for completing the course materials successfully and in a timely manner. Personalized Learning Paths is the default curriculum for your course, which means your students will see only the Learning Path tab and the Calendar on the Course Home. If you want to exclude content from your course or change the default settings for Learning Path access or mastery requirements, see

Internships Opportunities

No in this field my college lacks because I have never heard of any internship so far. But students do internship on their own. They go at several places of India to doing so.

Placement Experience

4

The average package in OIST of this year was 3.6 lakhs per annum. Some students bagged packages worth 6 lakhs also, it all depends on the student ability. In 2014 one of my senior in CE bagged 11 lakhs job in Tech Mahindra. Currently CS/IT bags most of the job offers because companies like TCS, Capgemini looks for software developers. There is not much placements for CE, ME, AU right now, most of the students ended up looking for post graduation courses.

College Events

Reinventing India’ was the Theme for Mélange 2015, one of the biggest and awaited college fest in India, which went international this year. Mélange had an incredible mixture of technical, sports, extra-curricular and social events and activities, organized from 8th -12th of February, 2015. Every year the musical concert is organized for enjoyment but this year the beauty is that there was concert which hosted not college fest, but oriental managed to pull off an event of that level well. Pugmarks also came for a day of Rappelling for the students.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is very strict. Full of rules and gender ratio is general which we usually see in engineering college i.e. bad but ya good from IITs And NITs and I must say in some of our branches like CSE, EC, EX, IT it is great means 1:1 one, but three brilliant artists! Amit Trivedi was joined by Neeti Mohan and Divya Kumar. The concert saw a grand crowd enjoying the live performance of their favorite singers. The technical big six events (Robowars, Line Tracer, Age of Robots, Wheels on Fire, Robo soccer), Footloose, V-Rock, Gaming, workshops, guest lectures, seminars, etc saw students from many colleges participating. Technical events were a grand success and many more events having similar participation which provided a platform for new and innovative ideas. Lounge events also attracted a lot of students. The finale nights displayed amazing talents by Indian students and fierce competitions between the teams. Mélange is introducing new events and innovative workshops every year so that it gets bigger and better garnering a great response. This time, the concept of Human Foosball and Paintball was introduced which induced a lot of excitement in the students. It is rare to ever find a Paintball arena in a

have been living away from my home for over 11 years. And in these 11 years I have lived in various hostels and PGs. But having experienced it all, I can share with you my tips and tricks that will surely make your diet in hostel/PG healthier:

Alumni/Alumna

Yes .College organizes an alumni meet every year in which alumni come to college and share their experience with juniors .

Exam Structure

Exams are generally scheduled during the last two weeks of the academic term after your lectures/labs have finished. Not all professors assign exams—they may choose to grade students based on the work they complete over the term, such as written assignments (research papers, essays), in-class quizzes, class participation, etc. Your professor will provide you with a course outline on the first day of lectures, and this will explain how you will be graded. If your course has a final examination, it will usually be scheduled by Enrolment Services on a certain date and time during the examination period (the last two weeks of the academic term). In some cases, however, it may be a "take home" exam. In this case, you will be given the exam to complete at home using references and texts, and you will be given a submission deadline. The exam schedule is posted online approximately six weeks prior to the exam period—about halfway through the term. You are strongly advised not to schedule flights home or make travel plans until the schedule is announced. The university does not consider travel plans a valid reason to miss or defer a final examination. Grades The RGPV uses a grading system on a four-point scale to calculate a student's Grade Point Average (GPA). Most professors assign students a percentage mark or a letter grade (A, A-, B+, etc.) which is then converted into your GPA. Our college is affiliated by RGPV.

Admission

MAdhya Pradesh goverment has a portal of mponline through which all goverment policies and work are done.As all state has a directorate of technical education so has MP . Now When you have compiled all the pieces of your application and sent it to the college/university of your dreams, all of your hard work gets placed in a pile with hundreds of other applications. Then a small group of admissions officers will review each application, looking over the scores and coursework and reading the college application essays. The key to convincing the admissions officers is in understanding what they are looking for. They want students who will: Succeed once they are admitted; Contribute to the educational experience of other students; and, Bring honor and prestige to the university once they graduate. In your college admissions essay, you want to portray yourself as a student who will meet those needs. Of course, the specifics of what qualifies as “succeed” or “bring honor” will depend a bit on the particular university, but all admissions officers share these three goals. Before you write your college admissions essay, take a few minutes and jot down some answers to the following questions: How can I reassure the admissions board that I will succeed in their school? How will I show that I am determined and ambitious; that I will not get poor grades or drop out? How can I contribute positively to the educational experience of other students? How might I bring honor and prestige to the university? What are my long-term goals? Might I win an award someday, or start a business, or improve a scientific process?

Classroom assessment is a useful tool for improving your teaching. For example, if you administer an assessment (see previous sections for examples of classroom assessment methods) and a large portion of students are deficient in a given area, you can reflect on why students have not acquired the intended knowledge, understanding, or skills. This reflective process can provide teachers with insights about how they can adjust instruction in the future. If students share common misconceptions about a topic, a teacher may wish to re-teach the topic and/or may choose to use a different instructional strategy to convey the information. If you are having trouble understanding why students may hold misconceptions following instruction, you may ask students to indicate why they responded the way they did on a classroom assessment. After you have analyzed your classroom assessment data, you should provide students with information about what you learned from examining their responses (e.g., common misconceptions) and how you plan to use that information. If the sole purpose of an assessment is to improve your teaching (rather than to provide students with feedback or to grade students), you may want to consider administering assessments anonymously to minimize the pressure that students experience to successfully complete the assessment or to provide positive feedback. This section of the module provides information about a few assessment methods that you may want to consider using in your pedagogy class to assess the effectiveness of your teaching, though assessments that measure student learning should also be used to inform your teaching. STUDENT EVALUATIONS Student evaluations can be administered during the semester as well as at the end of the semester. This allows students to provide you with feedback about the course and your instruction, which can be helpful especially at mid-semester when you can make adjustments before the course ends. Even at the end of the semester, though, student ratings and comments can inform course improvements for future semesters. Seeking feedback from students during the semester also indicates to students that you care about their learning and sets a good example for pedagogy students. Additionally, you can use the Mid-semester Course Survey in Canvas to gain insight in the midst of the semester. If you are interested, view the Canvas tutorial on how to create a mid-semester survey. You could easily modify this form to collect information at the end of the semester in addition to the Course Instructor Survey. At the end of the semester, UT requires course instructors to use the Course Instructor Survey for students to evaluate the course. You may consider adding your own survey items at the end of your CIS, potentially items that you included on your Ongoing Course Assessment survey.
