Eligibility - BCA, BSc with a minimum of 55%. In 12th mathematics has a must. The application form is uploaded on the official website of the college. Admission is based on pgcet examination or kmat examination. Pgcet fee - 60000-70000 Kmat fee - 151500

Course Curriculum Overview

MCA provides so many opportunities in the IT sector like programmers, software developers, web developers etc. Teachers are highly qualified and corporative. The maximum strength of the student is 60. Teachers use a projector and green board for teaching. Exam timing is provided in starting of the semester.

For internship companies like TCS, WIPRO, TATA, etc are managed by the college in the 3rd semester. At least one internship is mandatory for placements. College helps to give you a proper environment for placements. And run placement classes too.

In the 3rd semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, and MEDIA. NET, AMAZON, FLIPKART etc. The highest package is 18 lacs and the average package is 6-7 lacs. 100% of students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission through the PGCET examination, the fee structure is 60000-70000. Admission through the Kmat examination, the fee structure is 151500. The scholarship is provided only to Karnataka students. College provides 100% placements.

Campus Life

The annual fest name of the college is Kalanjali. It is held in September. And the tech fest name is verse. It is held in July. All course books are available in the library and the issue book has to renew in 15 days. Sports and extracurricular activities are held in-ground and auditorium.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel provides a separate bathroom and a common bathroom. With 2 sharing and 3 sharing rooms. There are 5 buildings for a hostel. Meal of the food average and menu change every month. The registration process for a hostel is on-call and direct. Pg rooms are approx 1km far from the college.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

Sir MVIT - A decent college with great potential to improve.

I had applied through KCET exam and with my rank of around 10000 this college was in match with my rank. Other colleges which I had applied to included msrit, dsce, bmsit, bmsce, rv, etc. I couldn't make it through to these colleges as their cut offs we're higher and i needed a higher rank for my course of choice. Although I would have got selected for a different course like eee, ete, etc. in these above colleges, I gave preference to my course. Admission process was smooth as it was through KCET counselling, once we pay the fees directly through bank account, i just had to visit the college once for the admission process and also pay some extra fees there. KCET would be a better option than comedk or management quota as the fees will be lower....Read More
