My Life and Experience while doing MBBS in the city of kolkata

For the process of admission first, you need to appear in the entrance exam with 250 marks and get more than the cut-off marks that are 150. Then according to the percentage, you score you will get a scholarship. Scholarships are also given to ST/SC. After you have cleared the exam for admission you need to give identity proof like an Aadhar card and you are successfully done.

Becoming a doctor was my dream that is why I choose this course. The faculty is great I can say it is one of the best faculty in the city of Kolkata. The teachers are so well qualified and they have good methods of teaching, I feel praised to be taught by these teachers. There are 4 exams in a year and it is average to pass them.

Many internship offers are given out, in a batch, there are 90-100 students out of the 90% who get internships as working as nurses and ward boys and also have a chance to stay in the OT rooms during operation for getting the experience they are also allowed to consult with the patients in the hospitals.

Placements are not given, but internships are offered. However, after passing out you can apply for the hospital owned by them and you have a high chance of getting it. My plan after getting the degree is to apply to my dream nursing home and work there.

There are many opportunities for the students as there is a hospital owned by the same college its easier for students to get internships and jobs in the same hospital attached to the college. Students can also learn many things from the experience they get in the practicals in the hospital during their college time. The fee is affordable for students.

Life on the campus is pretty fine not too cool. Many facilities are missing like free Wi-Fi and daily practical labs. There is one annual fest and 2 tech fests organized every year. The social life is fine good students with great qualities to get from them as well.

I life in the hostel provided by the college. Its cleaned daily not too dirty all time. Electricity and Water supply are always available. However as i mentioned before facilities like free wifi are missing. The food provided is also avarage.

Yes, I had to give a written test and a small interview. The written test was pretty hard but I still went through it and even got a 30% scholarship. And for the interview few questions were asked.
