Remarks
The admission process was very simple. There will be online application forms available after you're allotted the seat in JAC counselling. JAC counselling is just after the Jee advances result. Reservation benefits are all on the application form.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. Computer science and information technology branches both are equally great. There are 6 subjects in each semester taught by 6 different teachers. Teachers are qualified enough so they can teach their subjects with deep knowledge. Most are Phd. There are 3 types of exams after 1.5 months gap. Two are minors of 30 marks and then majors or finals (50 marks)
Internships Opportunities
The internships are proved to students so that they can be trained to work for their jobs. Companies such as Infosys, Samsung, Amazon, Flipkart etc. Provide internships to students based on their projects done during the summer vacations of each year and based on skills including C++, Java, web development etc.
Placement Experience
The placements are quite good. The placement session happens when the student completes his/her 6th semester. After that various companies including Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, ZS, and Deloitte comes and offer packages to students. The Highest package can be 30 lakhs or more and the average package is generally 5-6 lakhs. Almost 90% and above students are placed every year. I have just been placed and looking forward to working in my new job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is as follows : Semester fee (without hostel) :- 50,000 Hostel fee:- 12000 per year Mess charges are according to the meal eaten There are scholarships for various categories like rural areas and also with income less than 200000.
Campus Life
Social life is really good. The campus infrastructure is developed quite well. Every year the annual fest 'Goonj' happens. The library has all kinds of books from all the branches. There is a sports ground for various sports including cricket, basketball, badminton etc. The extracurricular clubs are there which include theatre club, dance club, singing club, technical club etc.
