Remarks
I took admission directly by going to college and filling out forms and giving necessary documents but you can also get admission through REAP. The admission process directly was quick and easy there is no extra benefit for reservation but a friend of mine had his fee reduced because of the railway quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
Midterms were conducted before semester exams (RTU). Two midterms mtt-1 and mtt-2 are conducted these both have a gap of 15-20 days between them. They prepare you well enough to pass in semesters MTTs were much harder for me than the semesters themselves you can pass MTT if you took lectures seriously and continue studying.
Internships Opportunities
internships in my college start from the first year and in some branches such as IT and CS it is necessary to do an internship to get a participation certificate from that specific company which will come in handy in the second year. a few days ago my whole civil branch was called for some internship in civil which to be conducted in Ajmer 1st and 2nd-year students were allowed to participate we were told we would get some prize money for an internship which was not disclosed to me as I didn't participate.
Placement Experience
I think students become eligible from the second year for college placements. we get a lot of opportunities in case of placements we have big companies come every year to recruit students. Alumni of my colleagues are doing well-settled jobs the in the public sector and if not then they're doing their self-owned business. I haven't decided anything yet on what to do after graduation but I definitely won't be doing a job through placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a first-year student almost at the end of second semester I personally haven't had any scholarships but there are schemes time to time for fees if you pay fee in advance . I haven't applied for any internship or job applications so I don't have a first hand experience but my seniors for example one second year from my college got a job in Microsoft with a package of 80k per month.
Campus Life
There are many many groups and clubs in my college and they conduct events and activities on a regular basis to keep students indulged. we have clubs like ashayein(blood donation group), Atrangi (for artists such as painters, singers, and writers ), Khalsa(dance club), and many more.
