Remarks
The delivery of the course at HNIMR helped me in understanding management subjects plus technical subjects together. HNMIR College conducting MBA courses was very impressive. They have excellent faculty and a good infrastructure like a good computer lab, library with a lot of subject books. I believe I took the good decision of joining the HNMIR.
Entrance Preview
When I was shortlisted the cutoff of the college of business management by the given entrance exam, I gave some aptitude and Personal interview to take admission in this college. An interview is also easy they ask about many questions related to my previous qualification and why do you want to join in our university. That's it they will ask in an interview.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for FY were Rs. 1,37,000 and for the second year it was 1,37,000 which I personally felt very high and not worth for money. because of this excluding hostel, food and other stuff. It is heard that fees are going to get reduced but no confirmation over yet till the date.
Campus Life
The college is good but the student has to take initiative and create opportunities for us. The strength of the batch is 600 which is huge and I think that hampers the management and teaching quality somewhere but at the same time gives the student a opportunities to create a huge network ad contacts which will help him in future. A person has to really work hard and prove herself because college won't tighten up the student that much.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels have facilities like common washing machines, 24-hours hot water with solar energy, ironing, indoor games, recreation halls with TV sets, PCO/STD booths, guest rooms for parents and a gym. 24 hours security is provided. Medical services are available by way of a resident doctor, nurses and a sick room. Dorm-representatives and matrons meet regularly to sort out difficulties if any.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. the alumni network is very strong and spread across the world having more than 11,000 in the network. It does work and hep us a lot in placement guidance and placements too. Each class is been allotted with 2 alumni who guide them throughout the 2 years and further needed.
Faculty
The faculties are very experienced and have worked in industry before. The Majority of the faculty are having doctorate with extensive projects going under them where they involve the students too. Few of the faculties are also having many patents in their name and having a great network in the industry too which help students to get more opportunities.
