I completed my B.A in hometown. and then I decided to pursue my MBA from outside but not so long because my parents were not ready to push me like Bangalore, Pune, etc. then I sit for the management aptitude test (mat) exam and scored 77%, then I decided to go to the iem college because of its position in West Bengal. so if you think to get into any management college you must sit for cat /mat-like exams. I applied also to 2 other colleges and then later decided to do with iem . the admission process was simple for you to get into this college contact with the iem ashram building office. it will be easy for you.

I chose this stream because I did not want to go through a simple life. right now the world was growing faster so move on to this fase with something beyond .faculty members are obviously good. right now pursuing this course I feel they are very helpful .to take this course you must qualify for a B. A (graduation) or engineering. it has 4 semesters and also mid semesters and also 2 interns.

look there are 2 internships provided by the college. one is a winter internship which was held in the month of jan- feb. and the second summer internship was held in the month of july - august. to learn a lot from this internship.

after completing the 2nd semester you may be eligible for the placement process. I think there are a lot of companies visiting this college. the overall package was good. almost 100% of students get opportunities.

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Well other than that I definitely put Techno Main , Heritage Institute of Technology, Jalpaiguri Government, kalyani Government and Haldia Institute of Technology too . But the rank didn't allow me to get my desired branch that is CSE in kalyani and jalpaiguri, so I had to close from the private ones and if you have to pick the best one in Kolkata which was also not far waya from my hometown , definitely you choose IEM , as it definately has a good placement track record and good curriculum. Well you can get into this college through WBJEE(which they didn't took this year ) , IEMJEE and direct admission too . But direct admission requires some extra donation amounts too .
