Remarks
Students with above 70% marks in 12 grade are eligible for admission. Students can either take direct admissions or can get admission through the Karnataka entrance exams. Students who want to take direct admissions should contact the office. There is a reduction in fees for students in Mangalore and nearby areas. Students who enter through Karnataka entrance exams can study at a fees fixed by the government. There is no additional application fee but you have to remit a part of the first-year fee.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electronics and communication because it is easy to get jobs and can study both electronics and computer-related topics. Every student in the college has faculty. Faculties are either Ph.D. holders or postgraduates. There are eight semesters and 2 sem in a year. College comes under VTU and exams are undertaken by their guidelines.
Internships Opportunities
The internship programs offered by the college are very less. It is better to get an internship program on our own. Every student is asked to have a final year project. Mainly recruitment for the internship is to the post of trainee mostly not paid.
Placement Experience
By the end of the third-year students become eligible for college placements. Many multi-national and large-cap companies for placement. A greater percentage of students get placed. The average package is 6-10 LPA. Most of the students get placed in the IT sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the course is the same as compared to other colleges in this region. There is the same fee for a student for 4 years. A slight fee hike can be seen every year. Students who take direct admissions with a good score of 12 will get scholarships according to their marks.
Campus Life
Aakar is the techno-cultural fest conducted in college. The library is available in college with a huge no of books. Hi-tech classrooms are available with modern facilities. College has indoor and outdoor sports and game facilities and mainly focuses on volleyball. College has clubs and social groups.
