About college: This college is good for those students who want to pursue bcom as it the only course provided by the college . Pros: ~Amazing professors ~Amazing Liabrary ~ Supportive union ~ Low fees ~ campus placements are offered to some of the deserving candidates, few candidates were recruited by IBM, TCS in the previous years ~ Summer internship by the college ~ Low cost courses provided by the college to final year students to build their cv. Cons : ~ Average ambiance ~ Less responsive staff ( few of them are very supportive)

I have chosen this course as I have interest towards accounting and this college is one of the best college's in Kolkata to pursue b.com TEACHING METHOD: Teachers teach us in a very supportive and descriptive manner and also give suggestions to us that will help in our future and they teach us by giving real life examples and case studies Exams : There are no exams taken during middle of any semester as it they want us to prepare fully and give time to our other courses that we are pursuing like- ca , cs , cma etc Difficulty level : You have to study hard to pass in exams as exams are preety hard

Summer and internship and winter internship are provided to students from the beginning of the course This year summer placement was offered to 2nd sem students in (Times of India ) for the role of sales . Avg stipend was 8000 rupees for 2 months

~ campus placements are offered to final year students only. ~ TCS and IBM have recurited college students in the year 2017, 2018 to the top 10-15% of the student , average salary was not disclosed by the college ~ my plan is to pursue for competitive exams after completion of my degree

College is very much affordable for every student. Fees is very low as compared to other colleges as this college is under bengal government SCHOLARSHIP: No scholarship is provided by the college but they help to get government scholarships like ~Vivekananda scholarship: given to the students with financial problems (12000) for each student only one Concession: College provides 60% concession on rail tickets also Campus placement: It's good for placement but only for top 20% of the batch

~ There are numerous fest organised by the college union and students like - Holi fest , Christmas fest . ~ students who are interested in sports are also encouraged here and given opportunity in college team for inter college tournaments ~college union provides support to every student with any problem .
