Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course since I want to prepare for UPSC exams so I opted for this course. There are three departments in our course math department, physics department, and computer department and each department has a sufficient number of professors so the faculty and students ratio is excellent. Professors of our departments are highly qualified and highly experienced so they teach us very well to us. Exams are conducted on a semester basis once a six months and all questions come from class notes.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total duration of this course is 3 years. Each year average of Rs 2592 fees are charged and besides this, we also get scholarships each year from the state government. The scholarship amount we received every year is average Rs 6000 in our bank account. The total cost to study this course is only hostel fees since we get back college fees as scholarships. Saksham is the name of the scholarship we get from the state government. An economically weaker section of students gets financial assistance from Indian Bank.
Campus Life
Farewell parties, fresher's parties, and many more annual fests are organized in our departments in the winter season. There are many libraries in different departments and also a single central library is present on the campus where we get every subject book and journal for free with the help of a library card only. All common facilities are available in the classroom like Wi-Fi, AC, labs, and many more. Sports and games are organized but we do not get time to play.
Hostel Facilities
I rented a room nearby campus named Manshabagh colony where a single room is allotted for rent of Rs 2000 per month. We had to make food by own self. A room with bulbs and fans is allotted in which food is also made. The room has neither bed nor chairs for sleeping and reading respectively.
