Enjoy College life with Good Freedom

The college is situated in the top of a hill, there is some difficulty in going there. The college have a lot of college buses to reach the college from many areas. The college have wide area so you wont get bored.Students are not allowed to bring vehicles inside the college campus, these should be kept in allowed places only.

For BCA course you don't want any entrances,rather getting admissions through marks based on 12th stranded. centralised allotment process is made by the government if you wish to get merit seats and the college is also offering management seats.

The course BCA was based on the MG university syllabus.the syllabus is very old and have to updated to the latest . also the course is mainly focusing only on theory paper rather than ones programming skills.a student who is very good at theory can score good marks

Sorry,no type of internship to the students,I think for bca like courses internship is not provided.

When i was studying in the college there was only few company visited..one of the major company was TCS which visited in 2016.but There was not sufficient students to participate in the recruitment process so they stopped coming to our college.The other company was Decathlon India and they taked 2,3 students. However some average students are getting placements in top MNCs like infosys. Many are placed in companies that may not give much salary or giving salary between 10,000 to 15000. Many of our seniors got placed in some good companies like tech Mahindra. The placement cell is working fine and they give alerts by sending Mails.The salary Offered by companies like TCS,infosys range from 15000 to 26000 per month after the training period.

The college has many programmes,these include tech fest by the engineering campus ,management fest by the mba department,Arts day by arts college,inter college fest by the arts college.A lot of students from many college are participating in these fests.

For BCA course the merit fees is rs 20000 for every semester,For management seats the fees is rs 25000 for each semester.semester exams fees is almost rs 700 in each semester,when comparing to other colleges there is a little amount of rs 2000 increase for the merit seats.

For degree course the is not any good scholarship.however post matric scholarship for minority students are awarded by the central government. for availing this scholarship the students must pass semester exams with 50% of marks.

The campus life is very good we will get good freedom.There will not be any stress in our studies,gender ratios is as common.there is equal opportunities for bot girls and boys,the institution gives respect to every religion.there is no discrimination based on caste and creed.

The campus spread across 14 acres of land.Inside the campus itself the are a no of institutions working like cbse school,state school,mba,teachers training institution ,kinder-garden etc.Jim, Bank(SBI), 2 ATM counters,3-4 canteens,1 stationary shop ete .The basketball court is of National stranded and we have a good basket ball team.The football court is small,cricket are also being played.

Unlike other colleges our seniors was very good,caring,helpful.There is no kind of raging.anti raging cells are there.alumni network performs good.good cooperation from the the alumni network .

The exam schedule is major problem,the college is under mg university kottayam the first semester results are only announced in the next year.so many ones who get failed has to wait a long for the reappearance ,At the end of the semesters the results are little bit fast. The university exams are conducted as per the mahatma gandhi university kottayam,the internal exams are conducted by the college itself,internal marks are uploaded by the college teachers based on your performance in internals.for lab exams external examiners are evaluating us. the exams are not conducted very frequentely.mg university is not publishing results on time,so the students have to wait a long time if they have to write supplementary exams.

The admissions to the merit seats are based on the allotment process done by the government of kerala.While for management seats you have to go directly to the college.When the allotment results was published in the webiste i along with the printed documents from website and 10th,12th, certificates went to the college and taken the admission.We have to pay money for the uniform and first semester textbooks.Also there is a caution deposit.

The Teachers are very good.They may be not much experienced in the field of teaching.But they are good at teaching.not much so restriction to students. Unlike other colleges lot of freedom for students.No many pressure for student,PTA are held once every year only.
