Always don't focus on placements and select the college. Search for college which concentrate on co-curricular and other technical activities.

Remarks

Exams are a bit easy when compared to other competitive exams. So the difficulty of the exam is to be improved to find the desired candidates. Moreover, NRI quota seats are not to be given directly to the candidate. At least, he/she needs to be assessed with the basic skillset and need to be offered. This makes the college have a bit of desired candidates even its NRI quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

I choose CSE because I'm already a code guy who used to code from my 10th standard. That made me more interested in doing challenging things like creating small games and participating in code quests. But, after joining the college we figured out we are a bit more advanced than the faculty. They mostly concentrated on theory and less on practical. So a person with prior coding experience can be fetched here. If not, he needs to work on his own to grab the coding knowledge. The student-faculty ratio is 20:1. The exams too are easy, not too difficult to crack because they're more of theory than practical. Exams are conducted for 2 terms per year.

Internships Opportunities

2

Only 1 or 2 offers internships with a stipend. Rest all we need to search outside and grab them. College usually won't bring any internship placements. Free internships from Hyd and Vizag usually work on ML, DL, and cybersecurity.

Placement Experience

1.5

Students become eligible from the final year 1st semester. TCS and Accenture are the major recruiters, followed by Deloitte, Cognizant, and MuSigma. TCS and Accenture were selected by almost 1000 students from all the branches. The highest package offered is Microsoft which is 10L and the Average salary is 3.36L for the System Engineer role. 80% of students usually get placed in the first 8 months and the remaining 10% get placed by end of the course. My plan is to go for an MBA after a prior experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

Before 4 years there used to be a huge demand for CSE so they didn't usually reduce the college fee. They only used to give a concession for a fee only for below 500 ranks. But presently, they are giving concession until a rank of 5000. I joined for 2.25L and now it increased to around 3L. Finally, I placed for TCS with a package of 3.36 L per annum. I faced the worst scenario while attending placements because they made a rule of 1 person for 1 placement, which was completely miserable because many who failed for TCS got more packages than me. But, now they've removed that rule by giving dynamic placements.

Campus Life

2.5

Fests are more like a daily routine in the college because they happen very often. They mostly concentrate on Non-tech fests. They focus very less on tech fests. Books and journals are available in vast, you can have a lot of knowledge by going through them. Infrastructure in a few classrooms is good and others are a bit mediocre. Sports are not much encouraged in college. There are many student chapters in college but all render a little cause.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
