Remarks

The admission process is simple and becomes through neet ug counseling. All you have to do is to gain a good score in the next exam as it is very difficult to get admission to SMS college. once you'll get the score, you're done.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is vast and quite relevant but there are few students in 1st year who are interested in studying. The faculty is experienced and the college has a lot of interns. The teaching method mainly adheres to the syllabus. The exam pattern is semester wise

Internships Opportunities

4.5

During mbbs course, you'll have to do a 1year internship in the final year and you're paid for this. But you've to do hard preparation for the next exam to get admission in the pg program in SMS clog but it'll secure your career.

Placement Experience

4.5

Medical college doesn't work as engineering colleges there are no placements in companies 'cause every student becomes a doctor after taking an mbbs degree from such a prestigious college and when you're done with neet pg exam then there will be no tension about career, profession, job, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a govt. clg so there is no big issue about the fee. For male general or obc, it is around 40000 per year but for sc st and girls it comes around 20000 per year excluding hostel. During an internship in the ug program, you'll get around 20000 per month and in pg, it is around 90000 per month.

Campus Life

2.5

Sms college is strict about studies, attendance, and exams so a very low number of events happens but nowadays there's progress as SRIJAN the annual program of SMS is started .all classrooms are highly modified and quite large. Sports are mainly for seniors.

Interview Experience

3.5

For admission one have to score well in the neet ug exam. It is hard to get admission to SMS college as there is a high level of competition in the exam. Once you've done this rest are formalities. You have to go through counseling and choose your college and after getting an allotment letter you'll be ready.

Placement Experience:

We became eligible for placement after internship. Till internship,we don't have any choice to work anywhere else unless your family own a hospital. After internship,we can join a hospital as mbbs doctor or we can opt for examination like NEET pg or UPSC CMS or M.O. Highest package is 1-2 lakhs per month Lowest package is 50000 per month Percentage of students getting placement -80% My plan is to qualify neet pg and get a high ranked course .
