Remarks

Students who want to make their career in media line should go for this institute as this is my personal experience that I got every possible support from each and everyone to make myself grow in this line of media.

Entrance Preview

This college believes to empower the young generation with knowledge and skills-sets so as to be able to harness the power of the media and information technology, to create a knowledge driven, information rich, progressive, and a participative democratic society. The processes followed by the institute are easily acceptable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The institute in a short span of time has today become the preferred destination of students across the country wanting to make a career in media. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Media and Communication offers specializations in Media and Entertainment, and Advertising and Communication.

College Events

The institute not only asks students to study and score good marks but also asks them to make themselves active and happy by participating and organizing in number of events held in institute. This keeps the students happy and motivated. Also, there's no sort of restriction in inviting your friends over to the event.

The faculty is very supportive and generous to help students in understanding the study related problems in theoretical as well as practical manner. Faculty uses numerous examples to solve the query of students and also is very polite. They act as a guiding light in the life of the students showing the right path all the time.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Overall Good College

Overall, I would conclude by saying that DGMC is India's first college to offer the course of BA FTNMP. Followed by other colleges like KC etc. Till now there are only 7 colleges who offer this course. Many of them I have personally visited during my admissions & many of them I have read about. After comparing each one I can definitely say, that this is by far the best college for this course. Excellent Infrastructure. IT labs with Modern I-mac's and all software inbuilt. Sound lab. Colour grading lab. Plus it has its own studio where you can make your short film assignments given for your SEM projects.
