Remarks
The admission to Jecrc Foundation was based on the marks received in the 12th standard and JEE Mains. The cutoff for every branch was different and was based on relative seats available. The Process involved the registration through the online government portal of RTU-affiliated colleges. It was free of cost and valid in accordance with the released dates as per the government. It provides reservation benefits to the students and, also, to the low-income group individuals. The documentation of the college is a bit unorganized and must be improved to facilitate parents and aspiring students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The career prospects of this course were relatively better in government sector. The faculty: student ratio was sufficient for an efficient educational institution. It was around 1:6. Faculties were mostly master's graduatess and imparted knowledge in a conservative way. There was a lack of practical orientation. There were two mid-terms in between the semester. It usually was conducted on alternate months. They were of a higher level and required thorough knowledge to pass.
Placement Experience
In 6th semester TCS, Accenture, GRIL, Byju's, etc. They recruited almost all the students. The highest was 6 lakh and 4.5 as the average for almost all. 90% of students were placed. To appear for government exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was affordable as the institution is affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University. It provided due compensation to low-income groups as well. The college did not follow a fees hike policy and gave the percentage off over the submission if done before the desired semester. It provided compensation and a percentage off as mentioned above. There were no specific scholarship schemes. It was affordable for me to pay the amount of the fees and, thus, financial assistance was not required. I gave an undertaking for not appearing for the placements and the college agreed to the reason I specified.
Campus Life
The name of the fest was Renaissance and it was conducted in March. However, it shifted to May this year due to Covid. There were course books and newspapers available in the library. There were no smart rooms. Only traditional classrooms were there. There were plenty of sports and extracurricular activities available on campus like basketball, cricket, football, etc. The groups were Aashayein, Suhasini, Zaroorat, etc.
