Remarks

Our college gives many big person to our country for exam. Niranjan shah. I also hope that my college also make me one good person.

Entrance Preview

JEE, I scored 105/360This college is the oldest college in gujarat and also has experienced faculty. It has biggest workshop in gujarat.

Internships Opportunities

Final year student is lucky because that always tells us that they get live experience of machine operation and handling. Near our college there are many company .

Placement Experience

In the world and specially in india placement decrease with time but our college is expection in that list because every year there are 90-95% placement happen.

College Events

There are many events celebrated such as navratri, diwali, ganeshchaturthi, udaan , gandhi jayanti, volcano, sardar jayanti, uttrayan, holi, fresher day , friendship day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is government so there is less fee then other colleges . Our college collect just 1500 rupees per students in one sem. Other college collects 80000 rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are 2 scholarships offered by our college. One is for cast based which is given to all cast expect open and other is merit base.

Campus Life

There are many events such as udaan , prayag , pranaam, which has robotics , debates , technical events and workshop competition. Campus has five parts and has greenery in campus.

Hostel Facilities

Goverment facilities not always as good as we required. Hostel is not very good but is ok and mess facilities also sometimes well but not always.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students give us more confident and always inspired us. Our alumni team also supporting to us and give us opportunity to take part in different competition and sports.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is little bit easier then other colleges because there are just 2 exams in one semester. One is internal and other is external exam. Which is taken by GTU.

Faculty

Faculty of the college has good experience and give us more practical knowledge then theoretical.S.p. joshi our faculty has 28 years experience in workshop field and Ph.d. in welding.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

I want civil engineering. For civil engineering I know that in Gujarat, there are two best government colleges which is BVM and LD. So I choose BVM.
