So the eligibility for applying to BCA was 50 percentage marks in class 12th. After fulfilment of this criteria you have to appear in Symbiosis Entrance Test ( SET ) which includes knowledge about 4 field : logical reasoning, Aptitude, English, General knowledge. Once you clear the SET, you'll have to appear for Personal Interview session where college filters applicants on huge scale. All these details are available on college site as well ( sicsr.ac.in ). Apart from this there is a lot of reservation for NRI students, International Students and some caste based reservations, but getting an admission is not that hard if you're focused enough.

I choose BCA from symbiosis because here in SICSR you get the environment to push yourself and be innovative. The faculty is always ready to help students in academic as well as in non academic areas. Exams held almost every month and it's hard to get pass if you're not regular in practicing the concepts.

Many companies such as Infosys, ibm provide internship opportunities to SICSR students. Many local companies and new startups also hire from SICSR. Offers from web development, Android development to Analyst and HR are given.

In 6th semester you become eligible for campus placements, college firstly motivates it's students for higher studies and the ones who are interested in placements were placed according to their talent and knowledge. The average package last year was 6.5 lpa and highest was 29 lpa. It also has a record of 95 percent placement.

The cost of studying is not high as compared to other Colleges. It's an average price. Besides it provides 90 percent scholarship to student topper of each semester for that specific semester. Internships provided by SICSR doesn't come with a great stripend but they definately provide a good exposure to the industrial field.

Cultural events are held in every 2 months, fests such as SYMBI fest , and cultural days are celebrated quite a lot. The campus of SICSR is disappointing in terms of area and ground but the campus life is sweet. The library serves more than 50k books, extra curricular activities happen almost every week by the different different clubs such as drama, theatre, music, orator,tech etc....

There was a SET paper at first for which I prepared through YouTube channels and got myself few books. Once you clear the SET, there's an Interview where you need to introduce yourself amongst the panel and then they start questioning you to test your knowledge about the field and also about your qualities that what makes you different from others.
