I didn't take any admission tests. I was eligible for direct admission. The admission process is smooth. THEY cater well to new students and a tour of the campus of Senior students was also nice. One thing that can be improved is that they should also bring the admission process online in an easy manner so that it became easier to apply
Course Curriculum Overview
The package of computer engineering is more and I asked many ex-students of jecrc for choosing my subject. The faculty members are good and well qualified. They teach well if you want to study. They also behave like professionals. The student ratio is 60:40 for boys and girls. The exams are conducted in semester form every quarter. They are well designed to test your knowledge. Also conducted on the suggested time
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are not very. But you can get a decent placement opportunity if you prepare and study well. Many companies visit especially to hire engineering students. The get package of min, 3-4 lakhs per annum. The other courses students may suffer to get direct placement from college. But there is a proper system in college through which they guide you to get a job outside the campus 30-40% of Students get placement from campus. I got placed in Accenture at 7 lakhs per annum. Companies like Accenture google amazon Cloudera adobe Samsung Wipro tcs visit campus every year
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is on the higher side. Not everyone can afford to study here. Scholarship programmes are run from time to time but not every time you find the scholarship programme running in the college. Campus placement offers are decent If you have studied well and give the interview properly you can get a good job with a decent package of 6-8 lakhs per annum. The internship is also offered by many companies. Campus placement is better in Btech as compared to other courses
Campus Life
Life at the campus is great. All The students are friendly enough to get you engaged in college activities. The classroom has all the facilities with air conditioning rooms, well lit up and good infrastructure. The campus is wifi enabled campus The hostel is also very good with good rooms and food facilities. The extracurricular activities are also there like sports, cricket, football, badminton etc. Indoor games are also there. Every year student-created social groups on WhatsApp. Jecrc Batch 2021 is our group name.
