Remarks
To be eligible to get into LNMIIT, you need to appear in JEE Main exam and have a decent percentile(clear the cutoff percentile branch-wise). The application form is available on the college's website and you need to apply separately for it as it does not come under Jossa counselling. The college has no reservation policy and admission is only on the basis of merit according to JEE Main score.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE because of the boom in the IT industry in recent times and also because I am interested in pursuing computer science as a career. Some of the faculty are decent but for most of them, you would not be willing yourself to attend the classes. The faculty-student ratio should have been lesser and the faculty should have been more cooperative.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of companies come for internship drives as well such as adobe, Microsoft, Oyo and some other good companies too. They offer various roles both in core and tech fields for students of different branches.
Placement Experience
A lot of companies visit the college for placement and placement is probably one of the best things about our college. Students are hired by companies like DE Shaw, Microsoft, Media.net, and various other good companies. Internship opportunities are not as many as placement opportunities but still good enough. The average package goes around 13-14 LPA and the highest package is around 60 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike policy is around 10 per cent every year which does not justify the improvements done according to the fee they charge. Some scholarships are offered like merit cum means scholarship and scholarships for those who have parent income less than 1 lakh per year.
Campus Life
There is no definite time for the fests of our college. The technical fest is called Plinth, the sports fest is called Desportivos, and the cultural fest is called Vivacity. Vivacity is the biggest fest of our college. The classrooms are okayish, Library is not huge but contains the books required for the curriculum. There are many sports on campus- Cricket, Football, Badminton, Squash, Basketball, Tennis etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are okayish and probably enough to keep all your stuff. There is a cupboard which will hold most of your stuff and you won't probably need the common cupboard. Mess food is not that good but on some days it is fine and good enough to eat.
