Remarks
Management is just okay and average and as I said the fee structure is high as compared to the curriculum and facility provided.
Entrance Preview
I did my MAT and scored 75 percentile, I was looking for a college for my Post graduation and wanted an college in metro cities for better exposure and career growth. I did received an admission in Delhi but I chose Bangalore over it due to its better opportunity. We had an group discussion which was just formal and an one to one interview which was more of an preach of come join us please. They said that they have a limited seat which I later found it was not and asked for an token amount of 50k to reserve the seats.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure was just average and it was not much insight on the current scenarios happening around us. Some classes where more theory based and sooner we found out that we paid highly for an average college with average curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
From my batch we received stipend form ING vysysa Bank and we worked during our vacation and it was a two month cold calling job for insurance. We didn't received any pay from them after several follow ups by our own and by the college authority we never received any single rupee pay. All commuting and food expense was paid by us only from our pocket money and we still fell cheated for the same.
Placement Experience
They have an high ratio on paper but frankly when we were studying we hardly had any placement cells and I did get placed by an garment manufacturing unit with a very low payscale but I took it to gain experience. Placement cell was then developed and I hope that it is working now properly, I haven't heard any from the juniors about the same. We were asked to attend interviews which was a general interview posted in portals and it would be posted in Notice board for the same.
College Events
We had college feasts, PDP(Personality Development Programme) for freshers. Then we were encuraged to participate in other college feasts for debates and other extra curricular activites. During our course time there was an Product launch event which was very interesting and lot of learning was there in that.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure as I mentioned what we felt personally was quite high compared to the facilities and degree provided. The mess food is average as it is with almost all mess foods. The hostel facility was also average as we had bunking beds and on average four students will stay in one room and were provided with 4 table and chair and one Almirah divided to four peoples.
Fees and Financial Aid
They said that they provide assistance in getting the loan but frankly I took the loan myself and I highly recommend not to get into student loan until and unless its a good promising college or else you will struggle to pay it off.
Campus Life
I had an diversified class and people from all the corners of India was my classmates, it was an well balanced class as people from all different economic backgrounds came to study. Overall we didnt faced any kind of discrimination in college but ofcourse in Bangalore outside we did find liitle awkward facing discrimination because we were from different parts of India.
Alumni/Alumna
No I have not heard of any or never got invited from college for the same. Whatever communication we have is due to personal relations and social media.
Exam Structure
We had to give 8 exams in two years in order to receive both the degrees, It was on quarter basis and it was ample time, For pgdbm exams were conducted in the college itself as it was autonomous and for MBA it is from IASE university which is rajasthan ba
Faculty
The faculty was good and qualified but most of them were guest lecturers, Some of the classes were above average and the lack of attendance was always an issue from the students side which the management hardly took care off.
