Remarks
In Jaipur Engineering College and Research Center mainly admissions are done through REAP form, fill this form and select this college accordingly then on the basis of your marks of 12th and percentile in jee mains you will get the college. If you have scored above 85 percentile in jee mains and above 80 Percentage in 12th you can easily secure your seat in this college in computer science branch. REAP forms are generally released in August or September by the government. 15% of the seats are also filled by direct management. I think there should be more direct admissions and also there should be an option of examination tests if required.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science in b.tech in this college is the best course you can take cause it provides maximum placement offers and also its faculty are much better as compared to other department faculty. Faculty members are well educated and also help you to improve and learn but yes some of them are just there who don't teach you anything you have to learn yourself and seniors will tell you their names just take your seniors seriously they are not joking. There are approximately 1 faculty on every 120 students. Term exams are regularly conducted after every 2 months and they are very easy to pass just studying regularly or studying hard one night before can get you enough marks to pass.
Internships Opportunities
To be honest not many internship opportunities are available in the college but sometimes college provides you with the unpaid internship opportunities provided by the government. Like I take the internship through Internshala because this time college does not provide us with the opportunity. Otherwise, college takes approx? 3000 and give you the unpaid internship to learn the stuff and get the certificate.
Placement Experience
From 6th on onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TATA, Infosys, and Wipro visit the campus and give the placement. Average placement is 4-5 lakhs and highest placement is above 40 lakhs achieved by the student by their own hard work, not from campus, the thing is everyone gets placed either at low offers or at average offers. Soo we can almost 100% of students got placed who sit in placements. I personally am going to work hard and try to grab out campus placement in big companies if it is not possible then I will go through campus placement and continue with it.
Fees and Financial Aid
You have to pay approx 48,000 for each semester but there is always a pre-submit fees scholarship available by which fill the fees of the upcoming semester before the given date and you can get upto 25% off, I personally always fill my fees prior and get this scholarship. So you have to pay approx 66,000 tution fees per year which is quite cheap as compared to other colleges. For college transportation fees are 25,000 per year. And for hostel fees are 55,000 per year.
Campus Life
The best part about this college is its college life, this college has so many social(like FFJ, Suhasini and Soch), cultural(like FNF, Khalsa) and technical(like JIC) groups in which you can participate and enjoy your college life and learn new skills. This college also has the most famous event in Jaipur named Renaissance. This is 2 weeks event and by that time the feel and the vibe of the campus are just fabulous. There are also sports facilities, the sport enthusiastic students always play many sports after the college time is over on the college ground. 2 Libraries are available in the college and have many available books to study for the exams and more stuff.
Other Applied Colleges
Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan - [SKIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
This college has too much restrictions on the students as they are not allowed to leave the campus once they entered and also it has dress to wear which I don't like.
Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan - [SKIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
This college has its own dress which I don't like and also has restrictions like not allowed to leave once entered in the college before the leaving time.
