My unforgettable college life

The admission process is very simple. All notifications are notified earlier on the official website of the university. Generally, the number of classes 12 is considered and a merit list is prepared based on it. Reservation is given as per government rules.

I chose this course to help my family and neighbor farmers with my best knowledge. The teachers and faculty staffs are highly qualified and teach us with great care. Exams are carried out semester-wise that is 2 semester-ending exams per year. The difficulty level varies between medium to hard.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester but the majority of the students prefer higher studies or govt. jobs. So the company placement rate is quite low, about 20%. The major companies are Bayer, Syngenta, UPL, Dhanuka, etc. The annual average package is between 1.8 lakh to 2.4 lakh. After getting the degree my target is to go for M.Sc.

Semester fee is very low Rs. 1250 per semester. But it is increasing after COVID-19. No hostel charge is there. The mess fee is Rs. 2000 per month. Students with good academic result can apply for scholarships that are given by govt. and other NGOs but the college does not provide any kind of scholarship.

Students live here in harmony. A lot of cultural and sports programs are held throughout the year. Some of those are Unmesh, Naibedya, Anuranan, and Nexus. Regarding study and academics, optimum facilities are available in the college building like a library, classrooms with audio-visual aids, laboratories, and a conference hall. Students are also attached to different sports and other extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, recitation, drawing, etc.

I chose hostel for staying during my admission. The authority provide 1 bed, 1 table, 1 chair and 1 wardrobe for each hosteller. 2 hostels are there for boys and 2 for girls. Food and water are provided from the mess and canteen. Quality and variety of the food is very good. Registration process for hostel is as simple as the admission, you just have to fill up a form and the form will be reviewd and registered by the authority.
