Remarks
The eligibility criteria for admission were based on the merit score. The merit score was a compilation of 50% HSC grade and 50% of the NATA exam. NATA was a mandatory entrance exam required for being eligible for admission. The DTE procedures dealt with placements according to the CAP ROUNDS. The tentative cut-off during the 2018 admission process was a merit score of 127 marks. After getting placed in VESCOA, the admission process was made really smooth with the categorized division of the entire process. There was faculty and staff guidance received in case of admission-related queries.
Course Curriculum Overview
Art and Building blocks always fascinated me and hence I've chosen this field. Being the first ever batch of Architecture at VESCOA we started with a bunch of 40 amazing like-minded colleagues and 20 faculties. Eventually, as the batches expanded the faculties kept on adding and we found opportunities to interact with new visions and learning processes. The term exams take place at a gap of 6 months and in between that we have design presentation juries.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Arris Architects, AbhiSankalp, Hiten Sethi Architects, Tecnimont Pvt Ltd, Spasm Design, Rahul Shrikhande and Associates, etc were some of the companies where we worked during the internship an average monthly stipend was 7000/- Residential Commercial projects were the majority and tasks were assigned accordingly.
Placement Experience
The course includes an internship period of 4 months in the 8th Semester. There was a variety of companies to which the students were admitted and there was the provision of ample practical knowledge taken by us. The monthly average package was up to 7000/-. After completion of my degree I plan to take a work experience of a year and complete master in Architecture.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is 137500/- and it has remained constant ever since I got admitted to this college. There are various schemes the college provides as per the economic background of the students. It makes sure that students are given financial assistance. There are scholarships given based on Merit scores and Financial assistance to students who require assistance namely VES SRESHTA AWARD, VES Financial Assistance, and MAHADBT. There is a placement cell that looks after the job provisions from offices.
Campus Life
There exists a student council body of over 20 heads and 20 members making it a total of 40 willing participants who contribute towards making college life a happening place to learn and explore. There are club activities run by students which include Dancing Singing Debating Writing literature and playing sports.
