Life at Charusat.

I was eligible for the course as I had scored good marks in the 12th Board. Grades in my 12th Board, as well as the GUJCET exam, were good enough and I was able to get admission to Charusat University through ACPC. I am from Open Category so I'm not aware of Reservation Benefits. ACPC is the best platform made for the admission process, which is handled by our government. I don't think they need any improvement.

As we know, now is the generation of EV, and Electricity is a major need of a human, Also, Electrical Engineering is one the core fields of Engineering. Hence I opted for Electrical Engineering. Here you get more PSU Job options compared to other fields. Faculties at Charusat University are so well prepared and always helpful. Particularly in Electrical Engineering, they all have a PhD. Degree. They always try to teach us with student-friendly methods. Talking about the exams, we have to appear in 2 Internal Examinations which are of 30 marks, 1 Practical Exam and the last one is End Semester exam which is the final one. It is not that difficult to clear, you just need to make proper notes and you can easily score up to 8 SGPA in a semester.

A student from a middle-class family and below may get second thoughts after hearing about the fee structure. Fees for every branch are 64,000/- per semester and hence the total is 1,28,000/- per year. But one can apply for a TFWS Seat (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme). If selected, they'll only have to pay the Exam fees. It will come down to 7,000 to 14,000/- per semester. Also, one can apply for MYSY Scholarship which is given by the government to students, who have less household income. If eligible you can get up to 50 to 60K. As I'm in Last year right now, there are a lot of companies coming to the University for Placement drives. Avg. package is 3-4 LPA for Electrical Dept, and it is 6-8 LPA for the IT/CE/CS Dept. University Placement Department arranges classes for the Placement interested students, where students get to learn the aptitudes and placement tactics. Recently the University got acknowledged with an A+ Grade by NAAC Team, which will hugely benefit the students.

There are so many fests being organized by the University at different intervals of the year. Like Cognizance (A Tech fest), Spoural (a cultural event), Vrund (a Garba event every Navratri), Technotarang (a recent tech event), and Hackathons (for students who are interested in coding). -The library is full of books (with up to 1,00,000 books) housed in two library facilities. You get all the subject-related material from Library as well as E-Resources Center. -Classrooms are well equipped with a good projector, black/whiteboards, ACs, a Ventilation system, and comfortable benches. You get more than enough space to sit comfortably. Lab rooms are also well equipped with properly working and well-maintained computers and projectors, with every necessary software installed in them. -There's a ground for outdoor games like Cricket, Hockey, Football, a Basket Ball court, Volleyball Court, and many more. Also, an Indoor sports facility is available at Charusat. Many clubs are being run.
