Entrance Preview

i took JEE entrance exam to get admission in VCET.VCETis one of the best engineering colleges in India. After going through several rounds of counselling,i opted for VCET.The most important aspect of any college for all the students is placements. There are ample opportunities present for the students for placements. Internship opportunities on the other hand is far too less

Placement Experience

There are ample amount of job opportunities at VCET with many companies visiting the campus for placements. The profile varies from software coding profiles and core engineering jobs to consulting and business analyst. The average package hovers around 6-6.5 LPA, with the minimum offered by the mass recruiters

Campus Life

After the hectic day schedule, students refresh themselves by indoor and outdoor games like chess, table tennis, carom and cricket. VCET has exellent sport facilities. These facilities include Table-Tennis, Carom, Chess, Badminton, Volley-Ball, Basket-Ball, Cricket etc. Considering the holistic development of the students, the Institute intends to organise a sports week every year.

Hostel Facilities

Each hostel has a spacious common room where the students can enjoy their leisure time with modern recreational audio-visual facilities, indoor games, periodicals and books. Each hostel is designed to offer an excellent living environment. There is a separate girls hostel with similar facilities.

The faculty of the college is pretty decent. The old faculty, i.e. the professors who were appointed before was converted to VCET is still present and are pretty good in teaching and for research purposes

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
