Remarks

Everything is always available on the college website. Accordingly, you need to apply after HS. Application fees are different for different departments and courses. The college is mostly reserved for Gujaratis and one improvement I'd like to see in the Science department is placement or internship whatever possible.

I chose this course as I wanted to study it. Students are too many in Bachelor of Commerce as compared to B.Sc. and BA departments. The college holds Continuous internal Assessments which are actually of great use. The faculties are excellent.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the science department is mostly 57000 a year. There is a scholarship for students doing well in class 12 and a lot of financial assistance is there in the case of Gujaratis. The cost to study is high compared to other colleges affiliated with the university of Calcutta.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Umang and it is one of a kind in the city. It is conducted in December. The library is huge consisting of almost all the books necessary for the curriculum. Classrooms have modern facilities and AC. Sports and extracurricular are taken good care of. The college has a lot of collectives too.

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and well structure. It includes theory an practical subject which help in building strong basics it is useful for higher studies and future career . Though the bachelor of science is pursued by someone who wants to research and develop some idea to help the modern world. The primary decision was to contribute to the society like the great scientists who have done so before. The curriculum provides a balanced approach of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, theoretical knowledge from classes, assignments, homeworks and exams. Practical knowledge through the different workshops that are held in the college auditorium or online with successful men of the field who are brought as guests in them, from renowned scientists to great thinkers we have met a lot of them.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
