Remarks
A very good college with a lot of focus on the growth and development of the students. With many facilities in all the fields of interest that a young individual can have, the infrastructure and faculty are really good. The college is trying to make strides in the research and development with the Development of state of the art laboratories.
Entrance Preview
12th marks + interview round performance is the criteria for admission. They have 180 seats. All reserved quota are applicable. You have to go to the college with your documents directly for admission. Selected candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10K.
Placement Experience
Placements have not yet picked up for this course. A drawback is that there are not many good companies coming in for summer internships and for job hiring.
Campus Life
For a local student, there is a very good connectivity to other parts of the city. It has many food outlets and general stores near the college and even the college canteen food is satisfactory. The infrastructure was quite good and satisfactory. Wi-Fi facility was available and classrooms were well furnished. Sports and games were good and the physical training department supported students interested in different sports and the college has conducted various Inter college sports events.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is a little expensive but one can stay outside as well. The hostel is of good quality, however. The quality of food available in the canteen is good and it was maintained in a proper manner. Hostel rooms were clean and maintained properly. Finally, during my tenure in the college, there were no infrastructure related issues. Also, the college provided a good and clean environment to study and enjoy.
Exam Structure
It follows Bharathiyear University system of semester pattern exams. Marks of internal exams are also added to result.
Faculty
It is one of the few colleges of Karnataka for aerospace education. The teachers in this college are highly qualified and the college provides all types of machinery for learning. The lecturers are interesting and interactive. The faculty is also very good with a good number of them coming from the industry out of a passion for teaching. Labs were well maintained but required latest and modern equipment and facilities, Also to train students to use and manipulate various modern tools and equipment used in day to day practice.
