Entrance Preview
I gave CAT, CET, SNAP, CMAT amongst other MBA admission exams. I scored good in all of them. I had to choose between a couple of colleges. I chose JIMS because this was the only institution which ranked amongst prestigious institutes in India which I was able to crack. The management committee who took care of the admission process was very supportive in providing all the information.
Internships Opportunities
JIMS has a dedicated summer internship program in which all kinds of companies comes to the campus with a variety of roles and opportunities. The overall experience is very enriching and gives the actual insight about the industry which a student would soon be joining after the final placement.
Campus Life
The campus life is very active because a lot of activities are going on at any point of time at the campus. Seminars, guest lectures, workshops, corporate competitions and attending academic lectures are a part of everyday campus life. The college has a healthy gender ratio in all of its batches.
Exam Structure
The students are always occupied with some activity at JIMS which keeps them busy throughout the day. Any student, at any particular point of time is either preparing for a B-School competition or doing some certification course or preparing for the next academic test. The best part is that the faculty and management committee and alumni are always ready to help and support and guide the students whenever they need help.
Faculty
The college has appointed most of the faculties as visiting faculties who have a good industry experience in the subjects which they teach. They are considered masters in their respective fields within the industry and they teach solely because they like teaching. Hence, I would say that the quality of faculty is outstanding at this college.
