So The Entrance Process is divided into 2 major categories. 1) By counselling (85%) 2) By Direct Admission(15%) Counselling is done on the score of jee mains score (88 percentile can get you cse here for general category ) For direct admission, you need to score (94% in PCM to get to the CSE branch ) Application form 1800 rs available on abes.ac.in for direct admission Reservation quota is available only on admission taken through counselling
Course Curriculum Overview
IT branch is brooming branch so choosing this branch is a great carrier option. Student-faculty ratio Is around 60:1. All the faculty provided are well qualified and most of them are PHD's in their respective domain. Internal exams are done quite frequently within every 20 days and you need to study a bit to clear these exams.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Adobe, Walmart, Amazon, Cisco, Capegimine, and TCS come from on-campus internships. The roles offered vary from software development Engineer, Software Associate Engineer, Business Development Analyst, and Quality Analyst. Projects include blockchain integrated IoT projects, web development and Android development projects through internship campaigns.
Placement Experience
My Plan after getting the degree is to get a good placement with the extensive package in an IT firm most probably in faang. My other plan in near future is to prepare for the Gate exam and try to get into any tier 1 college for my Mtech or go to any respected foreign universities for my master's in computer science.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike issue is quite stable in the Aktu curriculum as the government mainly the state government decides the fee of the course. Talking about the cost of study If you are opting for a hostel then it would cost around 2.5 lakhs per year for sure. The scholarship is allocated to a few students on the basis of their economic status of the student. I am currently a 2nd-year grad but mainly for internships the stipend revolves around 45k per month
Campus Life
Life at abesec Is full of ups and downs. Some are the days when we need to study the whole day for the semester exams. Some days we just chill. One of the biggest fests of abesec is the Genero where big stars like Guru Randhawa, and Millind Gaba visited. The library is open till 8 pm for all. No such support is provided for extracurricular. Many social clubs like techno-verb are available but from 2nd year.
