Admission is done through counseling my NMC based on the NEET score. You can apply for the same on the NMC website.SC/ST have undue benefits in counseling due to the reservations they are enjoying. The process should become more transparent and seats should also be increased in govt colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because I was interested in MBBS in becoming a doctor in serving the community. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:15. All the faculties are qualified enough to teach as they all are also doctors with MBBS degrees. There are final exams once every year and it is tough enough to make you mentally crazy not because the exam paper is tough but because the course is too lengthy.
Fees and Financial Aid
As this is a govt college so there are very fewer chances for a price hike and if it's happening also then that too is very little. Scholarships are given according to the financial condition of home criteria to some sections of the society. After doing mbbs pupils must do an internship which is around 1 year and a stipend which is around 20k per month.
Campus Life
Classrooms are like government colleges, You e.you should not expect much from govt colleges because getting govt college is a bigger task than enjoying royalties given by any pvt college. Sports activities are constantly happening in, much like intraclass interclass intercollege, etc. There are no social groups, clubs, etc. here.
Hostel Facilities
As hostels here are very old so rooms are also like that only. It's shouldn't be compared with any new college hostels. The food majorly here is Rice sambhar pappu only. Chappatis are there but they are very rarely eaten by pupils here. The hostel is affordable and there are no issues except for bathrooms as many of the bathrooms are not in working condition.
