5 YEARS OF B. ARCH AT MMIED

If you wish to take admitted to MMIED the admin department is very cooperative and they will guide you through the process. Students here are treated and taught well. Being a student from the very first batch of this college we got to experience everything here. You must score well in the 12th exam as well as NATA to get in admitted to this college.

Teachers here are more like mentors to the students they know exactly how to bring out the best out of their students, they're highly qualified professionals which is the need of the hour in all the architecture colleges. The teaching method here is quite Interactive and involving.

We have searched for internships and got them at various architectural firms scaling from small firms to large firms spanning more than 30 people. The whole experience of internship was on a different tangent, there a student gets to know how to bridge the gap between academics and practical world. Overall it was a learning experience.

Few of the companies have visited the college for placement but as we're studying architecture placement is a once in a while kind of thing as the course teaches you to become independent and go for your own practice still the college has managed to bring out some opportunities for the students.

To aid your financial concerns there are scholarships like EBC ( economically backward class- for OPEN category students with financial concerns) and other caste and category scholarships are also provided by the government.

There is one cultural event AARAMBH which happens every year including sports event, cultural event different kinds of food stall , fun fair and what not. Students really enjoy the event, as well as the faculty, who are equally active and supportive when it comes to arranging and making the event happen. It's a yearly celebration apart from that there is a study tour every year for every batch where you can visit places around the country and get exposure in terms of architecture and personal experiences. Timely visits are being carried out by the college for the students.

Hostel + Mess faculty is available for the students who are not native and can plan their stay throughout the course here. Hostel and mess both are quite decent. Personally I have experienced it it's a different experience to live and study in the same campus.
