For admission, you've to give an entrance exam and according to the cutoff, admission took place. The cutoff is not the same for every course, it varies from course to course. In forensic science almost the first 40 to 45 students get admission according to the merit list. Eligibility criteria are that you've to do your graduation in science stream like chemistry, zoology, biotechnology, physics, mathematics etc. The cost of the application form is approx. ranges from 100-300 depending upon the category. For The improvement in the admission process, I would like to add an interview round too.

The course curriculum is great, it includes all aspects of forensic science from one branch to another like Ballistics, Cyber, Serology, toxicology, fingerprints, documentation, Arson, forensic Medicine, criminalistics, Crime scene investigation & management etc. Forensic Science is a very versatile course you can go in the field of your interest that's why I choose this course. The faculty is incredibly good, they have a nice connection and good interactions with the students. The faculty-student ratio is about 3:42. Qualification of faculty is a doctorate and some are pursuing PhD cleared UGC NET/JRF, they're very interactive with students and have a practical approach in there teaching methods. Term exam generally is in every 4-5 months if you studied well or stay focused in class they are not that hard to pass.

In my degree there's a month for an internship In any government institution you want, there's no stipend in that and you were there as an intern or trainee. In that period of span, you can learn about your field and deep knowledge of it and the outcome of that is you got practical knowledge and also the handling of the instrument, case etc.

The fee structure of the course is okay, it's a self-finance course you have to pay approximately 17000 per semester. But if you belong to SC cast there is a zero fee admission policy only if your parents are not government employees. The ward of government employees can't apply for scholarships or if the parent's annual income is more than 2 lakh then also students can't apply other they can apply for scholarships apart from a few terms and conditions. There is a campus job opportunity for under privilege students not for all.

My life on the campus is amazing, the campus's infrastructure is applauded, and the building looks like some kind of haveli, it's so mesmerizing. There are almost 7-8 canteens on the campus. There's an annual fest called sanskratiki, in this fest, several competitions happened such as face painting, rangoli, treasure hunt, debate, poem, singing, dancing, dumb charades, poster making, handwriting etc. It's conducted in the month of September And also we have several groups like bands or nuked-Natak, vital group etc. There's a common library called Tagore library and also every department has its own library. In the field of sports, there are an inter-college tournament or national inter colleges tournament you can participate in any game of your interest you have to just fill out an application form and then go through the trials and after that, they conduct a camp for practice, other than that you can play in the ground when every you want. If we talk about classroom amenities the classes are smart classes.
