Remarks
Admission to this college is done through the CEE entrance exam. You can visit this (https://cee. ncert. gov. in) website for an application form, fees, and dates. Remember you have to remember your user id and password so that you can download your admit card. Only the residents of Himachal, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Up, and Delhi will be able to give this exam. Several areats are reserved according to the category for example 11 out of 40 seats are reserved for the General category of UP.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty here are highly qualified and all the professors are with Ph.D. degrees. Faculty are called from big institutions of the country for webinars and seminars. The course curriculum is designed as per the competitive examinations and focuses on the all-around development of students. About 40 students have 3 teachers from one subject who are permanent. I want to become a teacher in the future and the curriculum of the college is exactly according to my aim so I joined this course and college.
Internships Opportunities
Final year students are sent for internships in schools like JNV for 3 months. There is a provision of 15 days internship in the third year for the students of the Integrated Course. There is also a provision of 15 days internship for first-year students of B.Ed., M.Ed. In the 15-day internship, students are sent to local schools. After doing an internship, the student develops almost all the qualities of a teacher and learns different types of skills.
Placement Experience
Placement is provided to the student in the last semester. The college provides very good placements. About 50% of the students get placements. Placement is done in good schools like Navodaya, KVs, and DPS. Apart from this, many other schools also come for campus selection. The average placement is 30000 per year. After this course, I will do my post-graduation with competitive exams like ctet, uptet, tgt.
Fees and Financial Aid
This is a government institute, so the fees are not exorbitant, they can be easily afforded. Talking about hostel and mess, its fees can be a bit expensive which is around 32000 per year. Mess is refunded on holiday days. Sc and ST are given scholarship from the college which ranges from Rs 400 to Rs 800 per month. According to the merit of CEE Gen and Obc students (50 percent of the students) are given Rs 400 to Rs 800 per month of scholarship.
Campus Life
Various cultural, educational, and sports-related activities are organized in the college by various clubs. All these activities are conducted from May to June. Mainly two clubs in the college are very famous one is "BHU Gyan society" and "SMEC". The biggest feature of this college is its library which has more than 10,000 books and the library is complete with AC where about 60 students can sit together. The college has beautiful grounds from where it is very enjoyable to walk in the evening.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has all the basic facilities like pure water, bathrooms, electricity, bed, chairs, tables, and a geyser for summer. A variety of food is available in the mess which is full of quality. Special meals are available on Sundays and at festivals. The hostel is given to you during admission. All the students must stay in the hostel.
