Internships

For Btech students one must at least qualify JEE MAINS as well as the college entrance exam which is held all over India. Application forms are usually uploaded on the official website of the college, and full details of application fees and all the dates are usually uploaded on the official website. The selection process of the candidate depends upon the rank achieved during the college entrance exam. Students also get concessions and scholarships according to their exam grades. If they perform well they might also get 100% concessions.

The faculty here are very well educated and qualified with Ph.D.'s from the IIT & nits and many foreign colleges. They are very enthusiastic and always ready to help their students. They try to teach their students with basic examples so that it becomes easy for every student to grab them. The semester exams are usually held every 6 months, weekly tests were also conducted by the teachers according to the syllabus taught in the class.

Internships usually depend upon each department and its faculty members. Sometimes students themselves get enrolled themselves in reputed companies for internships and training opportunities and sometimes department HOD themselves take the responsibilities and enroll the whole class for internships.

I will be very honest here, shuts don't provide placements to very highly reputed companies but usually to the moderate ones only. Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Some of the companies that come for placements are Aditya Birla Group, HCL, Mahindra & Mahindra, Parle, Infosys, L&T, and many more. The average package starts from 2.5LPA. Placements depend upon the particular students and their performance during the interview sessions.

The fee structure is different for each department. For engineering departments, the semester educational fee is 67000. But concessions and scholarships are given to the students based on their semester exam performance. The National Scholarship Portal and many state-level scholarships are also provided to the students.

The campus is very greenery & beautiful with lots of trees, plants, and flowers, anyone would love the college campus. Each department conducts its feast according to its schedule. Each department has its library with lots of knowledge books published by the best writers. One Common library is also there for all the students. Annual sports are usually held in April and inter-house sports competitions are also held every month. Many social groups and clubs are also there which are run by the students. NCC and many more extracurricular activities are present in the college.

Hostel rooms depend upon seaters and A/C and non-A/C rooms. Students can select according to their comfort zone and then rooms are allotted and their price depends on the type of room they will be opting for. For girls, there are 6 different types of hostel buildings all surrounded by one huge plot with good guarding facilities. For the boys, there are 3 different hostel buildings all are very huge in structure. Each hostel has its mess with its respected workers. Sometimes our food is good the food is bad it might also depend upon your taste buds and adapting to the environment. The hostel mess serves two types of menus North Indian and South Indian. If some students don't want to stay in college hostels and want to rent a room or PG then there are a lot of rooms and flats available within 1 Km of range.
