Remarks

Anybody clearing cut off in the NEET-UG examination can apply through West Bengal University of Health Sciences counseling or All India quota counseling for admissions. U would have to choose your desired college in the counseling process following which you would be granted your college based on your neet ug marks and your choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is a course of 4.5 years+ 1year of the internship. Each year there will be 3 Internal exams known as Blocks and a final Professional exam conducted by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Exams are quite difficult and the passing criteria are 50 percent.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a total of 9 semesters. The fees for each semester are INR 4500. Hostel fees are just INR 12 per month. In the internship, you would be paid around 30-35k per month. After MBBS you can apply for jobs.

Campus Life

Lobelia is the name of our annual fest. It's the greatest fest in Eastern India. It's a 5-day fest. Guest performances of eminent singers like Vishal Shekhar, Farhan Akhtar, Sonu Nigam, and Ash King are there. Other than that various educational seminars and workshops are held.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
