Remarks

Admission is on merit basics of students on their 12th marks result. Admission is on admission. Punjab. gov. Online registration. Then merit students get a seat. The fees of this college are very low because it is under the Punjab government. Here reservation benefits for sc, st, and obc castes. The admission process is good it does not need any improvement

Course Curriculum Overview

I love to operate computers so I choose BCA for further study. There is an equal no of boys and girls at this college. Most qualified and experienced teachers are there. They teach very well. Exams are at every six months. These are not so difficult to pass them

Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and red hat companies give internships with stipends. They interview us and give us some tasks to do. Internship is good but very far from college so I did not get a job my parents did not allow to go fat from home town

In the fifth semester, we become eligible for campus placement. 50 companies visited and give an offer to 1500 offers. The highest package is 10 LPA and the average package is 3.5lpa.80% of students get placement. My plan after my degree is to start my own company

Fees and Financial Aid

Year-wise fees are given to the college from online ways are also available. Fees do not hike at all because of a government college. I belong to the general caste so I did not get any scholarship at this college. I did not get any job in this college

Campus Life

Annual fests are celebrated, and farewell parties are celebrated. There is no library in college. Amenities are available. Sports are in August month and extra curriculum are also done here. So many student groups are there. Clubs are not available

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives

Placement Experience:

i can talk about college placement till now in my college, as far as i have seen, placement start after the 2nd year of BCA and 3rd year of B.tech, but first there is atest and interview. if the one who gets good marks in the paper will be selected for the next interview, otherwise he will not be selected. in my college, B.tech students get more placement because the get intership in ther last semester, though which they get placements too. till now, B.tech students have been able to placement and otherwise Bca students have did not place by college placement you will own search by non-campus placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a lot of interest in programming languages and in computer and how computer works. In future ,technology and application will be widely used . This course is appropriate for choosing according to my interest. This curriculum prepares me alot for this real world applications because future generation is totally dependent on AI tools or technology . I suggest in improvement of modernising technology, you have to focus on practicals for this curriculum. The exams are correct like starting at 9 :30 and ends at 12 :30 . Each student have different timing for their exams according to their course.

My experience at Bikram college of commerce

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is not relevant anymore. BCA is like new BA, but a sophisticated one. Everybody's doing BCA nowadays. I can't figure out the reason. But skill based learning is lacking and sadly this course is providing nothing but degree holding unskilled graduates (most of them). Though some who really explore the skills and work on themselves are achieving good jobs.

. I applied CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY (CU) college and I also got confirmed seat. but I don't choose this college because of their high fees and was in other district. I choose SCD GOVT.
