ABES Engineering College is Best

Every year the UPSEE state engineering exams are conducted but in 2021 and onwards the cutoff in ABESEC is based on JEE marks as UPSEE got terminated. The college demands above 85 %ile for admissions in branches allied to CSE and IT. The cut off of core branches go as low as 65%ile. Some seats are reserved for management quota which happens on the basis of your 12th marks and 10th marks. I chose this course I always wanted to do this. Most of the faculties are Phds or Mtech with 8 years of experience. Some teachers are excellent and they take every doubt. You can also visit the respective cabins to discuss your problems with them and the CCs. Many are IIT/NIT post-grads and student to teacher ratio is just how you'd expect in an engineering college. Exams of odd sem were postponed due to covid but even sem was smooth though a month or so short. The exams are of above-average difficulty though a month's preparation is enough for them.

Internships were offered by Walmart, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, etc with stipends of up to 10Lpa. Projects are different for different branches and are made in the 3rd and 4th years. There is assistance from professors and opportunities to showcase it in competitions outside the campus too.

2022 saw 2000+ offers being made and the number of jobs was around 950. Many students had more than one offers. The average package is around 6.33 LPA for this year with the highest from MICROSOFT at 47.2 LPA CTC on campus it was Amazon with 44lpa for 26 students. This year 92% of students got placed with profiles like SDE, Data analyst, Java developer, Content manager, etc. I plan to grab a decent placement on campus and then apply for master's Overseas.

Fee are an average of 1.3 Lakhs per year for BTech MCA and MBA. there hasn't been a fee hike in recent years. The college supports students to avail govt. scholarship schemes as well as information about other public scholarship opportunities. It has decent placements and internships number are also on the rise. The average package is around 6.33 LPA.

college life in ABESEC is not that great. It has an annual fest called GENERO but it didn't happen since 2020 because of covid. It's conducted around September. The library is huge and has got Technical and Non Technical books and Journals of all sorts. Also, have a big digital library and departmental separate libraries. The classrooms are AC enabled with windows and Digital Projector. Many extracurricular events and activities. Sports activities are average and the opportunities aren't that great. There are MANY clubs and SOCIETIES like ELIXIR, KALAKRIT, and ENIGMA, which are run by students.
