Remarks

The admission is basically based on class 12tg marks, the cut-off for the morning is generally above 87-90%, for the day a little less than that, and for the evening above 75%. Reservation benefits are available for students from West Bengal, but students from other states cannot avail of the same. The application procedure is completely online, details are available on the college website.

Bcom honor is a course which has got really good scope. And the syllabus is not that difficult, especially for students who are pursuing professional courses like CA, CS, and CMA, it's a cakewalk for them. The college has experienced faculties for this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:60. This college is known for the quality of education it provides.

I had my college totally online for the first 2 years so I don't have much to share, but yes, the campus life is great, there's a library, gym, playground, etc. There are various co-curricular activities conducted in the college, and events, seminars, etc are also conducted. There are student unions.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though.
