B.Sc. Botany is provided for students who completed plus two in the science stream with biology. The application form will be available on the college website. Aspirants can apply online with an application fee of Rs. 150 for the general category and Rs. 100 for sc/st category. Lakshadweep students and the Muslim category have a reservations.

My interest in knowing nature made me choose botany. Our department provides the best faculty members and facilities. Each student will get a chance to improve their skills. The semester-end exams conduct each semester accordingly without any delay. Since an autonomous institution, the results are published on the college website within a few months.

A tuition fee of around 3000 will be there for each semester. For OBC, OEC, SC/ST, and OBC H-general students who have an annual income below 1lack can apply for an e-Gantz scholarship which includes a tuition fee, special fee, and exam fee. Many other scholarships are provided by governmental non-governmental agencies to assist students financially.

Farook College celebrates a festival of arts called foslava every year. A musical club 'vibez' and dance club 'steps' are run by students to conduct various programs. The college owns one of the best teams in sports as well. A palliative care unit is run by the students and teachers association. The college offers one of the best libraries in Kerala with a large collection of books and journals. Visually impaired students can access audiobooks and braille literacy.

Hostel rooms will be available with basic facilities. The college has 4 hostels in total for girls and 3hostels for boys. The students who need admission to the hostel can register with an admission fee and caution deposit in the hostel office. The menu and meal quality are adjustable.
