the view of a student

the eligibility of the course is direct admission with 60% above marks in class 12. direct walk into the college for admission form it will also be booked by phone call. no application fees are required. if want to reserve a seat have to pay 40000 fees in advance. the admission process is good always prefer a direct walk-in admission not via any agents.

I have always wanted to be an electrical engineer and I have a fascination with the core subject of electrical engineering which is why I choose this course. in the first year, we have common classes for all departments from the second year we were divided according to streams. in the electrical department, we were 10 students in total in our batch of 2016, and the teacher-student teacher: student is almost 1:1. regarding the qualification of the faculty, many of the faculty are m.tech from IITS some are still doing their Ph. and the dean of the college was the head of the department of electrical engineering department he is also a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. regarding the teaching reviews, many teachers are absolute professionals while others are too much familiar with students. overall grade I can give up to 7 out of 10 regarding teaching revies. exams are absolutely timely and the university is struct about exam, along with the semester exam there are 2 midterm exams each and every semester.

the placement of the college is very good, from 3rd-year students are eligible for campus interviews, in fact, I got my job while I am in the 3rd-year 6th semester. lots of offers are made by various companies like zucol pvt ltd, byjus, utkarsh India skill max, vedantu, etc many more. the highest salary offered is about 10lak CTC and the average is 4lakh CTC, profiles like software engineers, it sectors, business management profiles are offered. almost 90% of the students get placed. I have done jobs in 2 companies for 2 years after the completion of the course now I am planning for further studies like MBA from abroad, outside India.

the fee was 40000 per semester i.e 80000 per year in 2016 but from 2018 there was a fee hike for the new batches which is about 55000 per semester now. in 2016 the cost of the study was around 320000 for 4 years but now it is about 440000 for 4 years. maybe there were some scholarship criteria but I personally have not experienced any kind of it, in fact, I don't know anyone getting a scholarship. no financial assistance is provided by the college they are strict about the fees issue. the fees must be cleared before each semester. the campus interview system is pretty good in fact I myself got 3 job offers from Zucol Pvt limited, skill max academy, byjus . the job that I got from campus interview varies from 4lakh CTC to 6 lakh CTC.

life at the compass is very good. each year there are many fests, cultural activities, freshers' parties, tech fest, job mala, etc are organized. lots of technical, social, cultural and sports are organized by the college. these fest and cultural activities normally occur in the month of September and February, much before the semester exam. library facility is very good books journals, wifi everything is almost available. lots of sports and extracurricular activities are performed both with the guidance of the teachers and individuals like cricket, football, volleyball, gym, the annual parade, badminton, etc. there are some websites and social groups run by the student but I am not indulging in it and no clubs like situation in campus.
